The last days of school in March, we were working on several projects all related to
Digging Up Tyrannosaurus Rex. Some students were working on researching a dinosaur. Other students moved on to the next step of using their research to write a rough draft. After having help with the editing, students worked on publishing their writing. It included creating a triceratops final draft writing paper.
Some students who finished their dinosaur writing project were encouraged to return to their
Digging Up Tyrannosaurus Rex packets to make corrects or "polish" their work. Ms. Leom met with students to reteach and support improving their scores.
Other students were given an opportunity to work on a biography novel project. Students who had less than an hour of work time were asked to read a book of their choosing.
