At 2:00 today, we had the Elementary Pepfest in the gym. We are thankful for all of the staff who make this event happen! I LOVE how our students have the opportunity to visualize our thousand-plus student body in one place at one time!
Ms. Hogan, our music teacher, brought us into the gym. Our space was limited, so we split up into several sections, joining other classroom communities. Ms. Leom missed part of her prep (she hates to miss a good time) to join the pepfest, and took pictures of the students closest to her.
Mrs. Erickson, the high school media specialist put together a video of all the Fall activities. It was so exciting all the opportunities available to us when we enter the high school.
Mr. Westphal, our activities director, introduced the Homecoming Top Ten, and Shadow the Wolf was also involved in "pepping up" the crowd.
Fifth grade teacher and football coach, Mr. Anderson spoke too.
The Homecoming candidates played a game.
We sang the school song, which our students sang our elementary version, "Read! Read! Read!" (and the staff all smiled).
Go Milaca Wolves, Go!!!
