Circle it

We focus on following directions in fourth grade. This week's spelling homework is a perfect example. Students are expected to circle the pattern. We did it in class in the word bank (Ms. Leom only recorded the first three). Students who forget this step will lose half of the points. Hopefully students participated in class and are halfway complete.

Please note, we often take notes on our assignments, giving an example word for each sound. Students are strongly encouraged to include the notes on their paper. We want students to be successful. Being organized and taking notes is an important step in being a successful learner!
