This month, in Social Studies, after learning about one of the four United States regions, students will be invited to study a specific state. We will use books and encyclopedias to gather our information. Ms. Leom's class was the first class to participate. They presented their states today.
Mr. Greninger's class will begin after President's day.
In Media with Mrs. Vickers, students are using MEDIA resources on the internet (links can be found in the Kurth Media Center) to research. They are researching a state with Mrs. Vickers and publishing their work.
It is exciting to see students end their milk break early to begin working on their research. It is a thrill to hear students' energy and enthusiasm when they make connections to their learning. I enjoy all the students who are asking "thick" questions and seeking help. Motivated students are a highlight of the day!
