We had a full week of learning. We were trying to get the basic "routine" of the week introduced. Then there were the important interruptions, like AIMS Fluency Testing, Passport Training, followed by the MAP Math Test on Friday... after nearly two hours of testing in the computer lab on Friday morning, our students needed to take a break! So Mr. Greninger and Ms. Leom met outside for ten minutes. It was a beautiful! It was the perfect time to breath some fresh air, spend time with friends ... and for Ms. Leom to snap a picture ... or two ...
Some of the best reasons to be a teacher ... are the skills our students demonstrate each day in class. Students skills and progress take place in their brains, and the evidence of their learning is demonstrated in observations, assignments, activities, and assessments ... today, we were able to imagine what that learning might look like if their brains were a playground ...
