A Viewing

One of the BEST parts about sharing a building with preschool through the twelfth grade, is all the experiences that happen within walking distance!!

Today, Mr. Kaiser, a High School English teacher invited us to view the play being put on by his class. We watched, An Inconvenient Squirrel.

Mr. Kaiser's description, "Names are everything - they define who we are and give us an identify to the world. Inconvenient Squirrel, our protagonist, traverses throughout the countryside with Socially Awkward Squirrel to find her purpose - her reason for living." The play deals with issues of identity and peer pressure, from the viewpoint of a squirrel and her journey to find her name.

One of our learning standards is that students view a variety of media. How fantastic we had the opportunity to see a play put on by local students!!
Mr. Kaiser welcomes us to the play
