Testing!

Testing! Whoo-hoo! Today officially ends another round of testing. There were the ORFs, the MCAs, the MAPs (also known as NWEAs)* ... it is "alphabet soup" of data collection. Today, Mr. Greninger and Ms. Leom's class finished their testing.

After the testing, Mr. Greninger and Ms. Leom took their students outside for some well earned "energy burning". The kids zipped around the playground, up, over, under, around, ... all the while laughing, yelling, and smiling.

* Note:
ORF = Oral Reading Fluency Test (how many words can you read in a minute)
MAP = NWEA (NorthWest Evaluation Association) - computerized test that gives feedback in four areas for Communications and for Math
MCA = Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment ("State Test")
