Be Kind

Ms. Leom read Pat Zietlow Miller's book, Be Kind to her homeroom class today (she linked a Youtube video). Ms. Leom was excited, because she used her new Libby app and downloaded the ebook from the Milaca Public Library, using the iPad to share it with the class.

We talked about the different ways we could be kind as we read. Afterwards, we took time to brainstorm different ways we could be kind.

Then we had time to think of one we wanted to do. We turned and shared with a classmate.

We wrote on our planner, "Be Kind" as a "homework assignment". Students could do their small act of kindness in class, in the hallway, on their way home, at home, and even change their mind and choose a different act of kindness.

This is one of many activities that are part of our Olweus Program.
