the Trifecta

What we love best is when you get to make something magical happen. Today, Ms. Leom was reading The Terrible Two, a Maud Hart Lovelace book to her homeroom. She checked out the ebook version from the public library, and mirrored it on the CleverTouch board, so the students could see and enjoy the pictures (and text) as she read!!

We've had different tools that allow us to project on the screen, but this is the was the combination of several technologies working together ... ebooks on an iPad projected on a CleverTouch.

Maybe, likely, there are others who have more advanced skills ... the new iPads didn't access or connect as previously known ... the CleverTouch also utilizes different "thinking" than the previous smart board ... and the idea of checking out public library books (free) on the iPad to benefit students  (continues to be a BIG idea for Ms. Leom) ...

she was excited and thought it was a big deal, and when the students were excited on their own and thought it was a big deal, then we knew it was the trifecta: students and teacher, learning, and fun!
