Electronics Reward

We had an Electronics Reward on Thursday October 31. We wanted ALL students to be caught up with their Responsibility Card to participate. We started communicating the importance of having all work completed for the end of the First Quarter over a week before. We made a greater effort to communicate missing work, offer teacher support, and pull students we were concerned about to provide more work time too. Then, since "end of the Quarter" doesn't have the inspiration to fourth graders as rewards, we started hinting at a reward, probably a big reward. Even with all of our planning, efforts, and support, there were a handful of students who needed more class time to finish up their learning.

It is fun to listen to the students talk with their friends! It is interesting to hear them talk about the videos they have created or share their pictures and many ideas that interest them. What amazing kids we work with every day!!
