More Projects

The first round of book project presentations has ended. Once again, I am so wowed and proud of our students, their interests, their creativity, and their efforts! I want to brag. Since "a picture is worth a thousand words", I will let the pride speak for itself:

Featuring

This week on the announcements, Mr. Greninger's class is leading the elementary school in the Pledge.

Rock the Vote

Since our fourth grade theme this year is all about "Fourth Grade Rocks", it seems to fit that we would also "Rock the Vote"!
Mrs. Arens, Mr. Lundeen, Ms. Prose, Mr. Greninger, Ms. Leom
(Mr. Greninger models)
Students took an opportunity to learn about the election process ... a primary ... a delegate ... a convention ...

then some of the fourth grade classes had an opportunity to read about the candidates and look at their views in five areas: taxes, defense, education, jobs & the economy, and health care.

Today, we reviewed the voting process. Fourth graders had the opportunity to vote for their candidate.
