We walked to Rec Park and went sledding today after lunch. This was a whole-grade-level activity (not related to a reward).
It was about 14 degrees outside, and the runs were iced over, and as hearty Minnesotans, we enjoyed the ride(s)!

Party!
Ms. Leom's Valentine's Party happened before lunch. Students were encouraged to READ their Valentines, and then they may select TWO pieces of candy. Then, the candy was done for the day.
Valentines offer many life skill opportunities ... the carefully copying individual names and writing your own name so other people can read it ... the long list of names that you are responsible to record ... the pride in a job well-done ...
Pennies for Patients
Our first collection for Pennies for Patients was gathered today ...
.. each grade has their own bucket ...
Keep collecting those coins!! Every penny counts!
