Working On it

Ms. Leom visited her classroom this morning. She isn't going to lie. She is feeling overwhelmed.

In reality, it isn't the stack of papers that overwhelms her, it is the information from the papers. The opportunities that she missed to work WITH her students. The possibilities that exist to TEACH. She missed her fourth graders, and she missed the physical action of "teaching" that magical place of interaction between students and teacher that isn't captured on paper or soon, an iPad.

Ms. Leom is organized and prepared to tackle her pile of papers. She is set up at the kitchen table. 

As she works, she will be taking mental and an actual list of notes of the lessons and needs for each of her students.

She will connect about conferences. They are important. Right now, she is anxious to be back in the classroom and teaching. She is working on it.
