Before she was an author and illustrator, Debra Frasier was an artist on a big scale.
She also made enlarged puppets that took many people to operate.
Debra shared her writing process with many edits, and how she revised.
She shared how she worked on her illustrations. In this example, she used pictures of her daughter to develop her ideas.
She showed how she tried out her ideas in different colors and examples to make the most informed decision.
Then Debra Frasier dressed up fourth grade teacher Mrs. Arens as one of her characters.
