Thank you

After learning the friendly letter writing format at the end of October, at the end of November, we used our skills to learn the format for writing a thank you note. Students wrote a card, thanking the host/hostess of their Thanksgiving meal.

We learned a thank you note differs with a shorter format. We used the date, the greeting, an indent, and three sentences: thank you, appreciate ..., and liked ..., followed by the closure thank you, and signature.

People often comment how students aren't learning life skills they need. Thank you notes is a courtesy.
