Penpal Letters

Ms. Leom's class started writing penpal letters to new friends in Royalton. Mr. Greninger's class will join the learning after Thanksgiving. We started by learning the "Parts of a Friendly Letter". These notes should be kept safe inside our Communications Folder, so we can access the terms and an example later in the year as needed.

Students used the writing process to write their letters. We brainstormed ideas to talk about ourselves, our families, and school. Then, we wrote rough drafts.

Next, Ms. Leom helped us edit the spelling and check for details. 
Finally, we wrote our final drafts on final draft paper. We look forward to the opportunity to write and meet new friends!
