Thoughtful Writing

We continue to work on writing poems in the classroom. It is exciting to feel the creativity humming as students are working. Even when they appear to be "staring into space", for this activity, they are often searching their personal "data bases" for just the write word or series of words to capture their thinking, and you can nearly hear the whirring of their brains working!

Our room is filled with many thoughtful writers!
