Several teachers in the elementary started using it earlier in the school. Ms. Leom is bumbling her way through the process now. Using her iPad, Ms. Leom can randomly update the Class Dojo APP throughout the day. Students and parents can check in to see how each school day goes.
In full disclosure, Ms. Leom has been using the APP for the last few months as a parent herself. Skeptical at first, the APP has been helpful as a parent, and initiates her children coming home and starting the conversation about their day and the choices they make.
Maybe this will be helpful for fourth graders. Maybe it won't be. We want students to be successful. We'll keep searching for the strategies that work.
