Greninger Place Mats

In December, with respect to our families with schedules filled with activities, family time, holiday events, and more, we changed our December Book Project expectations. We asked students to read at least one book and bring the book to school on the first day of school in January. Then, we worked on the book project IN class.

For the December book project, students created "Book Project Place Mats".

Presenting and sharing our book projects is one way we practice and develop our speaking skills. In the past, we have spoke in front of the entire class. Today, we presented in small groups. Students ate lunch in Ms. Leom's classroom. They took turns presenting their December Book Project Place Mats.

It was fun to see students sharing and talking about books!! I'm SO PROUD of their progress!!

Ms. Leom's class will present their projects on Monday at lunch time!
