iPad Spelling

Today, we pulled the iPad cart into the classroom to practice our Week 15 Spelling. For a handful of our students, it was their first time using an iPad. We used the "Notes" app to type in our spelling words. The app offered the correct spelling word as we typed. In the future, we will use this app again, to spell check, and when you type a word, you can also get the definition of the word. It is so exciting to imagine what opportunities are to come!! We need to start slowly for students who are just beginning their journey.

The classroom was silent (no expectation was shared) as students typed their words.
