Nonfiction

It is the start of a new month! In fourth grade, that means BOOK PROJECTS!! In January, students read a nonfiction book and selected a project: a book jacket, advertising, book bag, or a magazine article. This week, they are showing off their creative learning skills!

LOVED all the facts and smiles! It was interesting to hear what was fascinating to students, what new questions they wanted answered, and the varied interests in our classes.

In February, there is not a book project. We want students to read extra minutes. February is "I Love to Read" month, and Principal Voshell and Assistant Principal Meyer will be "wearing ice cream sundaes" if our school meets their reading goal. READ! Read! READ!!!
