Address

Fourth graders are working on their addresses this month. Ms. Leom's students meet for writing on Mondays and Wednesdays. Mr. Greninger's students meet for writing on Tuesday and Thursday. Each writing with Ms. Leom day, students take an address quiz. Students who know their address, earn a (Hershey's) Kiss and free iPad time - IF they are all caught up on future testing times.

In fourth grade, students are more active. They participate in activities, spend time with friends, and have adventures and opportunities that might include needing to share their address for a ride home, or to have a friend dropped off at their home. Families often begin experimenting with some independence. In an emergency, 9-1-1 operators will often ask for the address the person is calling from. Knowing your address is a life skill.
