On the second Wednesday of November, Milaca Schools went through ALICE training with their students.

Students watched a video about a school intruder.

 Students learned about the acronym for ALICE.

Then we discussed some of the different steps. One suggest is to "counter", in this case, we practiced throwing paper balls. When you have 23 paper balls being thrown at you, no matter that you directed it, your natural inclination is to duck. As serious as a topic this can be ...
