Google Expedition

This morning, Wednesday December 13, Ms. Leom's fourth grade class was the first students in the district to have access to the Google Expedition glasses. The kit was checked out during Mr. Greninger's class's time, so Ms. Leom took the first option for her students, on Friday afternoon.

We took a trip to Washington DC to see the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. We even went "up in the elevator", and could enjoy the views of Washington DC from the Washington Monument. Next, we traveled to New York to see the State of Liberty. We traveled to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, and finally to St. Louis to see the Arch.

My favorite quote, "It is like we are there, but we are HERE!" Exactly.

I tried to load a video of when we arrived our our fifth destination. I don't think it loaded like I anticipated with the results I was looking for ...
