This week, we are excited to announce that Mrs. Vickers is one of the fourth grade after school tutors, and Mrs. Hakes-Anderson and Ms. Leom will share the second position. Ms. Hakes-Anderson will provide math support and Ms. Leom will provide reading support. This is an exciting group of staff that LOVE students, ENJOY teaching, and WANT students to succeed! Actually, ALL of our staff have special gifts they share with students!!
If you were invited to tutoring and unsure about participating, we hope you will reconsider! There is still time! Tutoring meets Mondays and Thursdays after school. There is a fifteen minute snack and homework support time, some time on the computers working on Odyssey skills to support smaller group sizes for direct instruction.
