Band Try-Outs

I had a lot of technical difficulties uploading last week and limited time. Here was another fun event. We walked down to Mr. Garber's Band Room and tried out different band instruments.

Eckroth Music comes into our school with a team of retired band directors. They have different stations around the room. They show us how to form our mouth and blow to make the sounds. We have some feedback as we try. They give us a score from 1-5. A 5 being a strong sound and skill. Then the forms are organized so Mr. Garber receives a copy of our results and our families receive a copy with more information.

The parent meeting is in Dahlager Theater on Tuesday May 17th at 7:00 PM. See you there. It is a great time to learn more about instruments and have your questions answered.
