Poetry Cafe

It took me a few days to align a free computer and have the time to download the pictures from Poetry Cafe ... and it is complete.

We learned some life lessons along the way. We always do Poetry Cafe in Dahlager Theater on the stage. The black or purple velvet curtains really set off an amazing experience! We even schedule a Poetry Cafe two weeks later so we could make it happen in that location. There was a scheduling conflict, and we were told it wasn't available two days before.our life lesson, be flexible. Make it happen with what you have available.  So we did!

We hosted in the elementary lunchroom. Our food service staff and custodian, Mr. Lee went out of their way to make our new space work. Mrs. Arens spent hours figuring out the logistics. Mr. Voshell set up the sound system. Working as a team matters.

After weeks of preparing, we were ready! So proud of all of our participants!!!

I apologize for taking nearly a week to post Poetry Cafe. I had more glitches and difficulties than I want to remember; including losing all the pictures I painstakingly loaded individually twice. I needed to take a time-out break after each time. :)
