Preparing

On the morning of May 3, fourth graders will be on Dahlager Theater stage, preparing for the 9th Annual Poetry Cafe. We are busy working on memorizing our poems. We are working to build confidence, and adding details about projecting your voice, enunciating words, pacing, and more.

Today, after our practice, students were invited to stand up and share their poems. Everyone had an opportunity. Students were able to "pass".

Not all speaking volunteers are pictured. Students who looked exceptionally nervous don't need the added detail of a teacher taking a picture!! :)
