Roman Numerals

One of the best parts of our learning day, is the lessons we never planned to teach. Last week, we had a short mini lesson on Roman Numerals.

The full list is in the back of our planner for students who would like to investigate further on their own. We were reading about George Washington, and his story includes mentioning one of the Kings of England, with the Roman Numeral that follows after his name. To be a reader, we need to know how to read those names. Just one more way we enjoying learning every day!
