Main Idea

We've been learning about the Main Idea and Details in class for the last week. This is an important reading strategy to help with reading comprehension. After several days of working on it in class, and during flex, today we added it to our note section in our Flex Journal (the composition notebook that students designed with duct tape). 


We write the name of the strategy. We include related definitions. We included steps or clues to help us apply the strategy. We identify why this strategy is important.

Both classrooms (Greninger and Leom) have an "anchor chart" (educational term, meaning "poster") of our learning.
