Our first formal writing lesson started us with some basics. We reviewed nouns and verbs. First, we watched a Brainpopjr video with a quick review. Then we took some basic notes in our Flex Journal and wrote examples. We studied nouns first, then focused on verbs.
We will use our nouns and verbs learning tomorrow, when we talk about complete sentences containing subjects and predicates.
