Tickets Please

Each student is an individual. Some students are most comfortable when they are able to verbally share their thinking. Some students prefer to write. Others would prefer to draw. Ms. Leom likes to hear from every student. One strategy she uses is Tickets Please. It is a short jot-a-thought for everyone to have a voice. Ms. Leom collects the tickets (sticky notes) and can check with individuals as needed. It can be used to collect a quick detail (like favorite color), relate to academics, or more.
