SOTW

Today we had our first Student of the Week (SOTW) presentations.

Student of the Week is an opportunity for our class to learn more about each student. Students develop their speaking and listening skills. We start by having the Student of the Week share their poster. Then, they share and tell about any treasures they brought. Next, there is a period for the class to ask questions. We take turns and tell the Student of the Week what makes him/her special. The Student of the Week is presented with a certificate and a class book we make, from our weekly paragraph writing assignment. Finally, we have a "drumroll", and the next Student of the Week is selected. The packet of information goes on on Fridays, in the Friday Folder (Wolf Pack). It will take us until May for every student to be celebrated! So much fun!
