Best Rewards

One of the BEST rewards is early in the year, when the iPads first arrive and all students want to do is to free play ... We don't have the time in the academic day to just explore. We have a lot of learning to develop and rework with students. It works for everyone when we the second reward day arrived and students were invited to free play on their iPads with friends.

I was only able to capture the action happening in my classroom. Students were invited to hang out with friends in other classrooms. Mr. Greninger, Mr. Lundeen, and Mrs. Hakes-Anderson had open rooms for this reward. Mr. Lyon and Mrs. Arens had spaces for students who did not make this reward. Students were able to work on missing work or quietly read.
