First Morning

Tuesday September 5th, it is our first morning of fourth grade! Our day is off to a terrific start! Our day started with a morning word find to find the names of the students in our class. We watched announcements. Ms. Leom is in a state-wide television commercial (link) to welcome students back to school, and she shared it with us. (The second link, sharing a back to school tip, not shared in class.)

We practiced a fire drill.

Mr. Lyon and Mrs. Arens' classes came into our room. Then we had a "guest" student come into our room and demonstrate everything NOT to do in school ... as we learned about Responsibility Cards

Then we started organizing our materials. We labeled our notebooks, folders, and individual items. We took turns using the permanent markers. When we weren't labeling our materials, we were working on family posters.

We had a chance to record our lunch numbers, then we were off to Recess. Our principal, Mr. Voshell even noticed our great line basics on the way to the playground! What a great morning!!
