StudentVUE

This week, Ms. Leom and Mr. Greninger worked to activate StudentVUE accounts. The activation codes were mailed to the fourth grade teachers. We pulled students individually to our computer to walk them through the steps. It is easy enough to do, but takes some time (nearly 7-10 minutes per student).

StudentVUE is the "same" app that parents can use to access their grades and learning. The parent version is called ParentVUE. The grades are available in "real time"; meaning, if Mr. Greninger updates his grades, and a student logs in, the information is immediately available. Students (and parents) can check the current grade, the details of what impacts that grade, and any comments the teacher(s) include.

THIS is the way Mr. Greninger and Ms. Leom communciate to students and parents any missing work and concerning grades. Students can access StudentVUE from their iPads. Soon it will be part of our routine of the day. Students can also access from wi-fi capable search engines from home. Information about their usernames and passwords will be available in the weekly newsletter this week.

Parents who are interested in being able to access ParentVUE can contact Mrs. (Amy) Roehl in the elementary office at 320.982.7301 to gain their activation code to get started.
