This is a picture of Ms. Leom's iPad cart today at the end of the school day.
I am fearful of posting this image, because I'm afraid that if our principal, technology staff, or even another teacher were to see this, they would pack up the cart and wheel it out of our room, not to return for the remainder of the year. This is not an exageration or threat. In the beginning of the year, to use the iPads, parents and students had to sign paperwork that went over the expectations of using iPads. In the high school, students are expected to pay a nonrefundable $50 fee for the use of iPads for the year.
What is missing? One iPad was left on a table. One iPad is on the floor. Only nine, of the 25 iPads are plugged in for the night.
I picked up the iPad on the table and the floor. Those students will not have access of their iPads.
Tomorrow, our class will have a meeting about the iPads. This can not and will not happen again.
