As we are finishing up the Northeast Questions, this week, we learned about the Northeast Notes.
Ms. Leom modeled what we need to do to to be successful for "notes" in Social Studies. We are invited to read about the information of the Northeast, and record three facts or details that are interesting to us. In the box, we are invited to draw a picture, with color, of the most interesting fact. In this way, we get to direct our learning.
We generally plan for one class day per page of notes. We are able to highlight or use sticky notes to identify the text we want to record.
Just a note about the Northeast Notes.
