OREO

Today we started our latest learning ... when students had set up their papers, they were each handed an Oreo cookie. Students were invited to eat the Oreo cookie in four steps. They were asked to write down the four steps to eating an Oreo Cookie. We added a title, a topic sentence, and a closure sentence. Please forgive us for learning with our mouths full of cookie goodness ...

Mr. Greninger's students will be thinking about Oreo Cookies on Tuesday. Stay tuned! This writing is something we will develop through the rough draft, editing, and publishing steps in the writing process.

I LOVE how EVERY student is successful for this learning project!! Everyone is so focused on the cookie goodness, they forget about being distracted or the other challenges that get in the way.
