Our Class

Ms. Leom makes a lot of mistakes in the course of the day ... when you have fifty students ... five-plus subjects you teach, and a new year and the first major schedule change in over ten years (we used to have our specials the last hour of the day, and now they are in the mornings), it can take a classroom of learners to help. It is one of the ways we build community ... we are all working together. So when we missed the first two minutes of Recess today, we took ten minutes outside this afternoon to make up for it. Ms. Leom may not always be able to compensate on the same day, but "what is BEST for students" is the beginning of decision making. Today, some time to run and enjoy our new playground was important!
