In Real Time

As Ms. Leom is reading Amal Unbound to her homeroom class, there are many learning opportuntiies. For example, Ms. Leom is modeling how to pause at the end of every chapter and retell the bigger events.

This morning, was one of the exciting aspects. We logged back into the Padlet we used when we started reading the book. 

While we waited for our fourth grade friends in Illinois to share their thoughts, we took some times to talk about how to comment online. This was a student influenced list.

Then we read their coments and responded. We commented, asked questions, and watched them respond in real time.

While Ms. Leom uses the blog to share with families, their teacher uses Twitter, featuring students from her class and our shared Padlet on their board.
