The Queen of Questions

Our metacognitive (thinking about thinking) strategy this week in Reading is asking Questions. The "Queen of Questions" arrived  in both classes to teach us all aobut the stratgies and how to use asking questions before and as you read.

Sometimes, it is with great joy, when a student is doing what students do, learning by asking questions, and it is the perfect model for the class!!

Queenie, the Queen of Questions is the first of several "friends" to visit. She is beginning our learning of the "many hats" (strategies) readers use as they read.
