This morning in Reading, we learning about the Settling (time and place) of the story. Then students had time to read to self for over fifteen minutes. They are asked to write their name, the title of their book, and the setting (time and place) of their story on a "ticket" (sticky note). The directions were clearly written on the board, and students were asked to place their ticket on our ticket board. Some of our best learning needs just a quick check of our understanding. Students who can demonstrate the skills can move on, and Ms. Leom can reteach and work with students who need more support.
